Free PDF split, trim, and merge

Keep unit pages from a large specification, or combine several PDFs into one. Processing happens on this device. Moga'em never receives the file.

What this toolkit does

Split and trim

Choose pages to keep from a specification PDF and download a smaller file. This is the same browser-side trimmer used in the signed-in Moga'em workspace.

Merge PDFs

Select two or more PDFs, reorder them, and download one combined document. Merge also runs only in your browser.

Private by design

Files never leave this device. We do not store PDFs, write them to a database, or send them to AI models.

How to use the free PDF tools

  1. 1. Choose split/trim or merge

Use Split & trim to keep selected pages. Use Merge to concatenate multiple PDFs in order.

  2. 2. Add your files on this page

Drop PDFs onto the panel or choose them from your computer. Nothing is uploaded to mogaem.com.

  3. 3. Download the result

The new PDF is built in your browser and saved to your downloads. Then try the full BTEC assessor workspace if you need criteria decoding or evidence mapping.

PDF toolkit FAQ

Does Moga'em upload or store my PDF?

No. The public split, trim, and merge tools run in your browser with client-side libraries (including pdf-lib). Files are not uploaded to our servers, not written to our database, and not sent to analytics or AI providers.

Do I need an account to split or merge PDFs?

No. The public toolkit is free and does not require sign-in. An account is only needed for the signed-in BTEC workspace (criteria decoder, evidence mapper, credits, and related tools).

How do I split or trim a PDF?

Open the Split & trim tab, choose a PDF, select page thumbnails or type a range such as 12-18, 22, then download the trimmed file. The original file stays on your device.

How do I merge PDF files?

Open the Merge tab, add two or more PDFs, drag to reorder, and download the combined document. Merge is processed locally in the browser.

Is this the same PDF trimmer as in the teacher workspace?

Yes. The public splitter/trimmer uses the same in-browser trimming logic as the workspace PDF Trimmer. The workspace version can optionally hand the trimmed file to Criteria Decoder after you sign in. The public version only downloads the result.

Who is Moga'em?

Moga'em (mogaem.com) is a SaaS product for BTEC teachers. It offers assessor tools such as Criteria Decoder and Evidence Mapper, season credits billed via Polar, and this free browser-only PDF toolkit as a public utility.
